I have to say thank you again, and again, you seemed to rescue me from disaster up to this point. There are no directions in laymen's terms for any of this and reading the XboxManual online doesn't help too much because I can't get it to work.Īnd is there any shortcut to getting into an XBMC program directly? Am I correct in thinking that if I start it up by pressing the eject button it will go into the Xenium program to start? Then I am able to get into Evox first if I want? It would be nice to go directly into an XBMC program on initial startup without going through 3 other programs first.
#SMBUP PROBLEM ADDING PASSWORD MAC#
All the firewalls and sharing on my Mac seems to be set right, but I cannot Add a Source to this xbox, it doesn't recognize my Mac and I don't know if that has to do with settings or passwords. The date and time were correct on the UnleashX when I looked at Settings, (I think that's what it was), so the Xbox must be connected to the internet or how did it get that? Now if I could get that Weather App to work and get the settings right to connect to my Mac, which was the original problem I had before I messed this all up by reverting to Factory Defaults, all would be well. If I open the Music folder and the Video folder there is a list of some items in there too that were added before this xbox was given to me. I didn't try to open any of them 'cause I didn't want to screw anything else up right now. If I back up to the previous screen with File Explorer on it, and click where it says Games (3 items up from File Explorer), it opens up a list of them and each has a picture of the game to it's left of the name. Each one has a yellow folder icon with an X on it.
If I open Games, at the top it says 0 files, 49 folders, with an alphabetical list of the games. ? in a yellow folder or box, with img_c.bin 500MB written there. When I found the F drive, at the top it says 0 files, 7 folders 60,114 MB, on the bottom right of the screen, it says 60,114 MB, 183,104 MB. I opened UnleashX and got to File Explorer, etc, and got the list of drives. I then restarted, erased the old C:\bios.bin from the Xenium launch menu and reloaded the new one I just created, via Flash, and started up again from there.Įvolution opens, has a slightly different 2nd screen (one or two different options added to the menu after the Launch Menu, and I have to open the second XBMC option listed to get back to what I am familiar with right now, as the first XBMC option was totally foreign and I didn't want to get messed up or sidetracked now.
I renamed C:\bios.bin back to .137.bin so I wouldn't lose it and have to copy it again to the C drive, and renamed as bios.bin. Seems like maybe that last step found the games.
